TECHNICAL DETAILS
• Production area: Regaleali Estate at 1,500/2,300 feet above the sea level, an hilly area
in the province of Palermo bordering south with the province of Caltanissetta. The estate
is more than 1,400 acres wide of which 1,000 acres are vineyards.
• Grapes: Catarratto and a small percentage of Chardonnay.
• Training system: Espalier.
• Vines per Ha: 4,500.
• Soil: Sandy clays.
• Harvest period: Catarratto first week of October, Chardonnay between the end of August
and beginning of September.
• Yield per Ha: 7 t.
• Fermentation: Cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 14-16°C controlled
temperature for 15 days.
• Malolactic fermentation: Not developed.
• Refinement: 4 months in stainless steel tanks on yeasts.
• Alcohol content: 13% Vol.
• Appellation: White - Sicilia I.G.T.
ORGANOLEPTIC DETAILS
• Colour: Bright, straw yellow with green reflections.
• Bouquet: Pink grapefruit, citrus flowers, white peach, pineapple.
• Taste: Great personality, pleasantly soft rich intense and crispy.
• After taste: Pleasant of soft.
